How would more money be taken out of your wallet when CFL and LED lights are far cheaper to run and last a lot longer than the inefficient incandescent bulbs - thereby saving you quite a bit of money in the long run?

"The typical incandescent bulb lasts about 1,000 hours, while a 15-watt CFL bulb lasts 10,000 hours and a 12-watt LED bulb lasts 25,000 hours. In other words, incandescents last about a year while CFLs can last 10 years and LEDs up to 25."
Again its none of your business what I want to purchase!

Unless lead is outlawed for ammunition like in California.

Anyone who thinks that transitioning to more energy efficent bulbs is equivilent to a dictatorship that murdered millions of civilians and started a world war needs to get their head checked. Quit screaming Nazi's like drama queens and Godwinning, and come up with a real point if you want to be taken seriously.

Most tweens aren't even as much of a drama llama as conservatives about this.

I guess the day has not started without raging at trivial things.

In the Land of Fruits and Nuts, only glitter and unicorn dreams may be used as ingredients in ammunition.

You don't need a ton if you get 130V. They aren't more expensive than 120V and last easily 10 times longer. I've never seen them at big box stores, but light bulb stores carry them.

Reminder to self: Stock up on 130V.

Manufacturing companies won't continue to keep tooled up to make old-fashioned inefficient products just because some people can't cope with the 21st century.

No incandescents for Texas. The law was a dud. You can read it and weep here. I picked a right wing news source too, so you would believe it.

I think post #309 applies to this post as well.
