2000 bulbs at 1500 hours each is 3,000,000 bulb hours times 60 watts is 180,000 kwhours. at 0.10 per killowatt hour that is $18,000. The same light from CFLs would have cost$5,400. So you are pleased that the poster has spent $12,600 to save $4,000 in bulb cost?

(Oh, that's right, he can make his own light bulbs, but honestly, could there be a more lame suggestion? )
