Saudi family hang Ethiopian maid from hook ? brutally beat her
I never said a thing about compassion. I merely pointed out the facts: The Saudi Arabian government does not sponsor international terrorism. The worst thing the Saudi government can be accurately accused of spreading is Wahhabism.

I guess you don't read the news much... or understand it.

'WikiLeaks cables portray Saudi Arabia as a cash machine for terrorists

Saudi Arabia is the world's largest source of funds for Islamist militant groups such as the Afghan Taliban and Lashkar-e-Taiba – but the Saudi government is reluctant to stem the flow of money, according to Hillary Clinton.

"More needs to be done since Saudi Arabia remains a critical financial support base for al-Qaida, the Taliban, LeT and other terrorist groups," says a secret December 2009 paper signed by the US secretary of state. Her memo urged US diplomats to redouble their efforts to stop Gulf money reaching extremists in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

"Donors in Saudi Arabia constitute the most significant source of funding to Sunni terrorist groups worldwide," she said.

Nice attempt at spinning the facts, but you failed.

You will notice that nowhere does any of your sources say the Saudi government is sponsoring international terrorism.

Citing Hillary as a source is also pretty hysterical considering she has even less credibility than the Liar-In-Chief. It never helps anyone's arguments when they cite a "congenital liar," as William Safire put it.

I guess you assume that Al Qaeda and the Taliban just stay at home? Get real. But they keep our dollar afloat in oil, so I guess it's ok...

'Saudi Arabia sponsoring terrorists who kill Muslims

In Iraq, more than 1,000 people lost their lives in car bombs and gun attacks that targeted mainly Shia districts of the capital, Baghdad. It is well-known that the House of Saud has been financing extremist Wahhabi groups affiliated with Al-Qaeda in Iraq over many years - even when these terrorists were killing thousands of soldiers belonging to its American sponsor.

This Saudi role was confirmed recently with the release of classified US cables in which former American ambassador, Christopher Hill, acknowledged that Saudi Arabia was a major backer of Al-Qaeda in Iraq.

But the Saudi sponsorship of terrorism is, of course, not confined to Iraq. Then there was the sickening slaughter of more than 120, including women and children, in the village of Khan al-Assal on 27 July. Also, on what should have been the joyous occasion of Eid al-Fitr on 8 August, the holy Shia shrine of Sayyideh Zainab, near Damascus, was attacked with mortars injuring more than 20 pilgrims.
