I didn't make those comments yesterday did I ?

Is the stock market static in time ?
Do my comments from 2010 also count as they were quoted yesterday ?

Get a grip Finn. You posted this in P&OC, not the investing forum so you have an agenda here.

I have a trading account and set targets as well as watch indicators.
I take my profits and jump back in.
2010 is 3 years ago my friend. Do you think I've been "hoarding" my money in a bank account paying less than 1% interest ?

Do you understand what "sitting on the sidelines" means ?
Except that I am almost positive that there is a recent post of you saying you got out of the market years ago. Someone asked me for proof, so I found the 2010 post and posted it as support for my prior statement. The post I tried to find said you got out of the market in 2010/11; it was really just a happy coincidence that I found a post from 2010 stating that you got out of the market.

I do think the bulk of your money sat out of the market and that is based on postings that you made.

One post was from 2010.
One post was from last week.
One post was from last month.

Yes I did but not forever. I got out mid 2007 when the indicators (DJIA and GLD) went bonkers.
I've been in and out over the course of 2009 to 2013.
It's called "taking profits". There's no way I'd leave those types of gains on paper.
I bought Apple stock at $97 and that would have been a huge tax hit on gains.
And I did a big sell right before the new cap gains tax took hold which would have been last year as did a lot of other people. Then you buy back in Jan and keep riding and pay the new higher tax on a smaller gain.

Does that make any sense to you ?

I have a trading account as well as a 401K and IRA. They are all treated differently.
I don't post a "Daily Diary" of what I buy and sell and when so you only know what I've posted.
And there's some stocks I have not sold at all since they are long term..like BRK-B for example.
That one I'm holding on to as long as Buffet is still running the show.

Lower rates are part of the result.
Why should they raise rates?

Think what you want. I don't care.

You'll also find a post of mine (maybe in investing) where I said I was watching GLD and when it gets under $100 I'd be buying.

If you are feeling so bullish...why don't you put your money where your mouth is? Put your life earnings on it.
