Glen is great! I listen to his radio show when I get a chance. (It's the #3 most-listened-to show on radio...)

His book "An Inconvenient Book" is a great read, also.

Whatís wrong with these people ?

Itís common to compare self-infatuated media celebrities to problem plagued high school kids.

But even high school was never like these people.

Adolescents normally try to conceal their neuroses.

These jokers, (and a number of you), mistake them for insights.

It is merely wearying, (wait, it's worse), it's just devastatingly wearying, to read and hear words so, not just totally devoid of cognitive content,

...but, what compels some of you to gleefully, and ecstatically defend and praise such meaningless content?.

Are your opinions formed via a process of infection?

Look around, the insane are running the asylum, the cheerleaders are crazier still, and some of you are taking up the chant of the cheerleaders.

Skip this adolescent 'pep rally' and go learn something on your own.

Please re-watch the movie "Network" starring Peter Finch, Faye Dunaway, William Holden, and Ned Beatty. We're talking about RATINGS here. A ragged psychological edge is GOOD in a TV commentator! M-O-N-E-Y for CNN and Time/Warner!

Let's recap here. The OP points to an Andersen Cooper interview with Glenn Beck re his book.

His erudite critics respond with;

he's not smart

dim bulb

a$$ bag tard

alcoholic

buffoon

complete fool

media hack for the right

Not that I'm saying those aren't well thought out analysis, but did anyone read his book? I haven't nor did i see the interview.

What particular viewpoints did he espouse that you disagree with and what are your particular counterpoints?

If that's too much to ask, please resume with the name calling instead and I'll check out the book.

I didn't see it but I would like to ask, why watch either of those two when you could listen to NPR hear good questions about issues and not hear people just label each other with insults or bully them like many of the CNN and Fox hosts do.
