Well, they are. The FRC for example is a known hate group, not a legitimate academic source.

It's like you didn't read a thing I just said.

The word 'circle' from the Isaiah quote you mentioned was translated from 'Chug,' a Hebrew word that describes a compass. A compass makes circles. From a high elevation, you can see all the surroundings. The horizon seems to encircle you. Bear in mind what encircle means. It does not describe the earth as perfect round or even remotely spherical. It just surrounds them.

Circle, in the context of Isaiah, did not mean spherical or even round. It just described the horizon around them. Circle on it's own, not even in the Biblical context, is a two-dimensional (flat) geometric shape. There is nothing scientific about that passage.
Some day science will hopefully catch up to the Bible.

I think you are a little behind the times if that is the view you hold.

Really? That's your response? Some weird backwards statement that doesn't even answer or address a single thing I said?

Your style of debate is atrocious. When you lose, you give up and say something like that.

You attempted to prove me wrong and say that there is reference of modern science in the Bible, implying you understand science and want to believe it's in the Bible. I prove you wrong. I make it very clear that the dudes writing the Bible thought (or as far as they cared, knew) the world was flat. So what do you do? You turn your original point around, now saying you take the Bible more seriously than science, and that science is actually behind the Bible; the opposite of what you originally said.

Discussing with you is a waste of time. Until you come up with something intelligent and not self-contradictory, I see no benefit to you even participating in this discussion.
