The most wasteful spend is coming from the defense budget and it is exposed in this video. Welfare Medicaid
Medicare do not even compare to the wasteful spending with the defense budget. I bet if we cut the $700billion defense budget by 40% to 50% we would not be effected one bit by the cut.
She's absoutly correct that the military is by far the biggest pork barreled spending the nation has. It's the perfect example of how the GOP really doesn't care about the budget as they want to gut the crap out of medicare and education, while expanding spending on something that needs it the least.
Yes, our spending on education has certainly produced results, hasn't it? We now have an entire generation of brainwashed liberals who know nothing of our history, can barely read and write, haven't read anything, are only able to parrot the Progressive talking points on any issue of importance. And, they don't find it necessary to defend our country against those with an agenda to destroy it. Let the entire world have nukes! Hey, they have a right. That passes for wisdom.
Shrinking our military, as the Obama administration has been doing, and will continue to do, does only one thing: It makes our enemies stronger, and reduces our ability to defend ourselves.
In my opinion, we should have the strongest military, with the most advanced weapons systems that money and technology can provide. That is how we preserve freedom (along with seeing to it that no "Progressive" ever again sits in the Oval Office).
Anything that comes from msnbc is total garbage.
if and when we are attacked again I bet these same liberals will be wondering why are millitary is ill prepared

Military spending and defense spending, are two totally different things.
They will combine the two and call it all defense, so you cannot refuse to liquidate the treasury to feed the military industrial complex.
Right now, we are on the offense. We have not had to defend our soil since 1812.

Well, that was certainly an intelligent response. Thanks for proving my point on education.
