Because, due to the global increase in temperatures you will start to see some erratic weather. More powerful hurricanes, more intense blizzards, more tornadoes, more rain in some areas, and droughts in other areas. Overall, weather is becoming more intense, the cold is getting colder, and the heat is definitely getting hotter.

The weather isn't any more intense now than it was 100 years ago. In fact, there were more category 3 and stronger hurricanes from 1900-1950 than there were from 1950-2000. Also, last year, the prediction was for 6 hurricanes to hit the U.S. Do you know how many actually made landfall? That's right, zero.

24 hour news cycles create a lot of this craziness. Hell if a cyclone hit japan sixty years ago nobody even knew about it. Now it is "global warming". Well everything is nowdays so the comedy show continues. Yes after Katrina the globals said we were all doomed and what has happened since? Sandy.........but they plow on screaming.

Talk to any climatologist or read research papers on it. These guys study weather for a profession, pretty sure they know what they're talking about. They ALL suggest storms are getting stronger and more severe. Where have you been?
