We can actually measure how much greenhouse gases we spew into the atmosphere.

Water molecules only last about 9 days in the atmosphere, unlike other greenhouse gases, which last for year.

We as in people can measure greenhouse gas emissions.

The total amount of industrial greenhouse gases produced in one year is about 33 billion metric tons.

hmm, common sense what is that. I am analytic. I am a skeptic. I am a doubting thomas. That too me is better than any sort of common sense.

I try not to let my hopes, dreams, and wishes confuse reality. I DO not wish and seek to confirm that wish.

I may doubt news when I first hear it if it doesn't fit with my understanding of the world, but I attempt to listen to data and not hope.

and the data (the global and overwhelming data) continues to show a significant trend to higher temperatures that are, most likely, driven by Human beings

Though what to do about it (and what can be done about it) seems to be totally unanswered in my book

other than put a damper on my idea of buying a key west house

This ^

Do the people against the "Global Warming/Climate Change" crowd and movement not think that the huge amounts of greenhouse gases and CO2 that we are pumping into the atmosphere will have no measurable adverse effects on our planet? We are impacting the planet on a level never seen before in human history. Never in our past has this level of industrialization been present teeming with 7 billion and counting human beings on this planet expelling waste and natural resources into the air and the planet itself. If you truly believe that man is incapable of affecting something as delicate as the weather then you truly have not looked into this matter deeply enough.

Denialists don't think, they just believe what they're told by other denialists. When confronted with facts that contradict what other denialists tell them, they just declare it to be junk science and whine about Al Gore. Any thread here about the subject will show this to be the case.

No matter the question, to the Global Warming Religion, the answer is....Global Warming.

So record cold temperatures would be caused by....you guessed it...Global Warming!
