She's not. She's a New Yorker who made a pit stop here for 20 years (and continues to smear the state 24 years after she left).

There is no such thing.

Really? I "hate" (worst form of the word ever made) and I live here and can afford it.

California is simply a hell hole. It has a lot going for it and, in the 60's and 70's I supported it fully. Even the 80's. However, now? Now it is NOTHING but a liberal bastion of hell. Liberalism has turned a great state into hell on earth.

You can love this hell hole, all you want. However, it IS the first state in the union which has failed.

I still ask you and other socialists: WHY is California the ONLY state in the union, which the federal government had to bail out, with a 8 billion dollar loan, to balance its budget? NO OTHER state has done this. Why California?

The crickets will now set in...

Your definition failed and hell hole/hell on earth are pretty loose. Hyperbole much? No, I'm not a blind apologist (things definitely have been better), but your assessment is kind of off the deep end.

Explain to me where I am wrong? Again, for the THIRD time in this thread:

Explain to me, and everyone else, how and why, California is the ONLY state which has received an 8 BILLION dollar bailout by the federal government?

Leave everything alone, aside. Explain to me, how the great California, the wonderful California, the RICH California, would not be in bankruptcy, without a federal bailout? The ONLY state which has done so. You won't. No will anyone else. Why? You are ALL liberal liars. You have ruined this state and run it into the ground.

So, if I am wrong and full of hyperbole, explain to this stupid jerk, WHY the state did this. Oh yes and why YOU did this. I'm waiting and so are the crickets. For I guarantee, you will NOT answer the issue, except to try and bash me further.

Of course the resident liberal, OKC welcoming committee will disagree, but this article is based more in facts and truths about the typical Californian.

As I've said before I'm an outspoken Blue Dog, from the old classic Okie ilk. I'm sure my further-left friends wouldn't agree with my views. I've lived in the West and witnessed the "Californification" firsthand. I do know that we do not need that in Oklahoma.

What makes Oklahoma the greatest state in the Union is its people, value-system, and overall culture. That would definitely change with Californification. People who think it wouldn't are fooling themselves and I'm guessing they haven't lived too many other places to see how unique/special Oklahoma truly is. It's worth fighting to keep the Old Ways. That's just me though.

Warmly,

Admittedly Crusty Ol' Out-of-Touch B&C

Okla is among the most homophobic Bible Belted state in the country. A bunch of Californians migrating there could ONLY be a good thing. Why would a Californian want to live there in the first place? Californians should have tried to keep the Okies out in the 1930s in the dust Bowl era. Oh wait a minute, they did!

Most liberals here are more moderate, with a few notable exceptions.
That must be why Sta FE is so dammed expensive!!!! When I stayed there in Oct 2008, I was shocked at the restaurant prices. It was just like eating in pricey California.

Where is your liberal tolerance?

Matthew 7:3-5
New International Version (NIV)
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
