Anyone who has served in the US military can speak intelligently on the subject. Those that have not, should keep their uninformed opinions to themselves, unless they enjoy looking like a fool.

I spent 26 years in the Air Force. I was also an Army brat--every man in my family, including every cousin and uncle, has been military since the Spanish-American war, and all the women have married soldiers. My own wife was an Army brat.

How is it a waste of time or money? Did it personally incovenience you? Sure most of them didn't pass, but most of you now think even those that pass should br excluded, well just because.
I don't see how you can draw a straight line between the number of pull ups someone can do and an increase in dead soldiers.
