She said absolutely NOTHING about her sex life. She simply mentioned the name of her long term partner. In the same way that anyone might say thanks for the support of their spouse or family.

Point of the thread! Why is it news..obviously they feel it is important to show another has joined the ranks. got to get those numbers up.
What ranks and/or numbers? I don't understand, sexual orientation is a genetic predisposition. I thought that was a scientific fact. Heck I know that and I'm on the right. To me sexual orientation Is no more relevant than hair or eye color.
This is no different than having breaking news that someone is a natural blond IMO
Oh! And I just want to say. She has been one of my favorite news anchors for years! Long time ABCNews watcher here. Her bravery just makes me all the more eager to watch my favorite news channel. I'm a gay man, and even Anderson coming out didn't switch me to CNN. lol.
I love Anderson I wish his daytime show was still on.
For all you bible thumpers, there is nothing that forbids or punishes a woman lying with another woman.
