They need something to deflect from the disaster and lies they've been pushing so far.

Why should minimum wage in Garden City Kansas for some High School kid be raised ?

What else will be evil this year ? Doctors, Hospitals, Income Inequality, Nuns and Birth Control ?

It would be nice to see Congress push for the federal minimum wage to go up to at least $10.10, though I would rather see them push for $10.75.

Why does it need to be Nationally ?

The COL in Kansas is no where near NJ or NYC. Push it for your state.

Sure thing. Employers can afford to increase their largest expense by 50% in a bad economy, right? No problem!

Well NYC and NJ should have a minimum wage much higher than $10.75.

Part of me wishes the Democrats would get everything on their wish list for awhile. That would probably be the best thing for conservatives.

Talk to the president. Talk to the Senate. It's not the minimum wage that is hurting people - more and more DO NOT HAVE JOBS. Minimum wage does nothing for them. If anything, it will add to their number if the minimum wage increases.

Republicans offered jobs plans - Senate and President were not interested.

This is all sight of hand - making us focus on what they want us to look at instead of actually solving problems. What a joke.

I don't think they have an idea of how economics works.
