If a Dem was outed by a news source, lawsuits would be flying.
For what? Slander? Libel? Only a cause of action if the statements aren't true.
And, Dem congressmen usually aren't "outed" because they don't meet the forced outing criteria: Driving an anti-gay agenda while being gay themselves.
An anti-gay constituency has the right to know that the one they've sent to Washington to be anti-gay is... actually gay... do they not? So, think of it as a service.
