This isn't even worth replying to. It's been the law for years.

Well we have to take into account
1. He had a disasterous vice presidental candidate
2. McCain was a bad candidate who suddenly stopped campaigning due to economy and wasn't able to inspire people.

If this was changed it would actually have been a close election, but then we are not taking into account the year. It was 2008, there was no way Republicans could win 2008 due to Bush legacy.

A better candidate could certainly win an election. Democrats think that a candidate who would do well is one who is close to Democrats as possible. They are wrong. The main problem for Repubicans is their close connection to rich people (and the gay issue), they need to break that and relate more to common people. Then they need to nominate a mainstream republican who is not an idiot and can inspire people.

I am not even a Republican, but I am not a Democrat either. I always state that Republicans should not listen to Democrats for advice. They do not have Republican interest in mind. Their concern is what feels best for them, and what feels best for them is a Republican party who copy all Democrat policies and always fail to win elections. The same applies the other way as well, Democrats should not listen to Republicans for advice.

Obviously yes, although the OP's list is mostly BS.

The republican platform didn't win the election. The Donald Trump platform won.
