Before you rant about stem cells, keep in mind, abortion is not a purely religious issue. Abortion is a moral, ethical, political, and scientific problem.
It depends on the type of Christianity. To some Christians, evolution and global warming goes against God.

A hypothesis: Global warming is not happening.

This can be tested, and tested against. Your peers, other people who are educated in the discussion of global climates, look over your data and either agree and support your conclusion, or disagree, and work to disprove it.

Nonsense is saying, "well all of the people in Washington are good people, just trying to do their best"

You have it exactly backward.

The hypothesis is- "man, through hydrocarbon use , is creating global warming".

Science is refuting the null hypothesis. It is incumbent upon those making the hypothesis to prove, or disprove thier hypothesis, not the other way around.

This is the lunacy and comedy of "global warming", which makes an outrageous, unproven contention, then ASSUMES IT TO BE TRUE, if absolute proof cannot be presented to show that it is not true. This is the exact opposite of the scientific method. Ironically, liberals, who claim the high ground of "science", fail to understand this simple concept and actually deride those who question thier "hypothesis". In actual science, questioning and more extensive analysis is welcomed to arrive at the truth. In a CULT, we see the opposite behavior, thus global warming.

Definitely. But that is what science is.... it builds upon itself.

Please DO NOT hijack the thread to turn it into one of the umpteen climate change screeds that already exist here. Go find one of them.

No it's not. Stop being dishonest. Man has been studying climates for hundreds of years, we've just gotten better at in the last half-century.

History also teaches us that "consensus" science can be totally wrong. A good example is the intellectuals believing the sun revolved around the earth and that draining blood from a sick person was a cure and of course the Piltdown man that was accepted for many years.

It is downright scary how so many people will follow the AGW alarmists without challenging their lies, fake data and agenda.

Yes, I'm very confident that science will trump ignorance in this case and we have already seen the world shift away from the AGW alarmists as all of their models and predictions have been shown to be false.

When people stop using science to fulfill an agenda is when science can exist on its own merits... Take money out of science and you will have facts... I wonder what people who push global warming want? Oh yeah, money...

Take the money out of science and you have no science. That thing you're typing on to enter words on a screen -- you think that fell out of the sky?

Consensus has no value at all. Quite often, consensus is just what those with a weak argument say when they no longer want to engage in legitimate debate. It's a pathetic cry to stop challenging their opinions.

If you can't understand the politics of money... Then you are the best kind of liberal that they love...
