Being gay has nothing to do with behavior. If you want to play that game, statistically being black means one is more likely to be a criminal and on welfare. Do you like that logic?

Gotta rep you for that. 27 years in this day and age is quite an accomplishment. Nobody said that marriage is easy, it does take work, and I'm willing to continue to do so. I took the vows "til death do us part" very seriously.
Even though the Constitution is being used to uphold any viewpoint, stance or lifestyle, it still doesn't get to the bones of the argument or question - Why do homosexuals want to be part of an institution that was conceived without their existence in mind?
You do know same-sex marriages have existed for thousands of years right?

Oh no it isn't. And that's the core of this matter. These people seethe with animosity to know that complete strangers are doing things in private that they don't know about. It just BURNS them when people do things they don't like but harm no one.
Christianity sees homosexuality or partaking to its lifestyle as a sin. I'm not Christian but that is what they believe and as someone of a different religious affiliation, I think it is important to respect that. It is a very old religion so I cannot see how you can just come up with one and it becomes popular. It is the majority in the US as well (correct me if I'm wrong here).
Age doesn't matter in term of belief. Why should your particular belief get exempted from following the law, but my belief doesn't?
This is not a popularity contest. Either all religious beliefs get exemption, or none do.
Being abnormal isn't a bad thing, but if you are getting all sensitive about it than maybe you do feel it is a bad thing.
Blue eyes and high IQ are abnormal too. Both of which are viewed as desirable by most people.
