As do the rest of the policy holders. There is no group getting free insurance paid for by those with low likely hood of a claim with any other insurance.

And then bam, I get told I have a precancerous tumor that had to be surgically removed, which then had to be followed up by radiation therapy. Dont be stupid and naive thinking because your healthy now that nothing can happen down the road.

With obamacare he can wait to sign up when he gets the diagnosis.

Premiums have been rising for years. Whats funny is, health care spending actually went down last year (although not by much) and has been growing at its slowest pace since this type of stuff has been recorded. But of course, we gota let big insurance companies rape us with higher premiums while their profits and stock value rises and their CEO's get multi million dollar salaries. Of course single payer would cost less, deals away with copays and deductibles and I don't see how it could be any more of a headache than dealing with the insurance companies who are accountable to no one except share holders.

LOL, not true at all. There is only a certain window where people can enroll, ie open enrollment, which ends in March. So if he decided to not have insurance and gets hospitalized due to injury or illness, he gets stuck with all the bills.

But of course we all know that's not going to happen. Its going to be the tax payers and people who pay premiums who will be covering his idea that nothing can ever happen to him and that he is invincible and immune from injury or sickness

Only if certain life qualifying events occur can you signed up after open enrollment. Other wise, no insurance if you fail to sign up for open enrollment
