Another day, another Obamacare goof.

People signed up for Obamacare in good faith (that might have been their first mistake). And later, when they tried to get care, the insurance company drew a blank on them. They had no insurance policy, the company said. Even when the customer had the records in his hand.

Gee, I'm SO glad we have the government acting as an intermediary now, "helping" us get insurance.

If we didn't, we'd have lots of problems.

One of the best things Obamacare has done for normal Americans, is that it has showed them what happens when they trust government to take care of major parts of their lives.

Maybe we should thank the Obamanites for demonstrating their own incompetence to the greatest number of people in the shortest amount of time.

Some Find Health Insurers Have No Record of Them

by TOM MURPHY and RICARDO ALONSO-ZALDIVAR Associated Press
INDIANAPOLIS January 9, 2014 (AP)

Record-keeping snags could complicate the start of insurance coverage this month as people begin using policies they purchased under President Barack Obama's health care overhaul.

Insurers, however, are less enthusiastic about the pace of the fixes. The companies also are seeing cases in which the government has assigned the same identification number to more than one person, as well as so-called "ghost" files in which the insurer has an enrollment record but the government does not.

It is such a mess. In every way, shape and form. I really do think that it was designed to fail so that they can push through single payer. They can't really be this incompetent, can they?

You're asking that question about 5 years too late.

The Community Organizer is that incompetent. That was obvious way back when he first splashed onto the scene as a candidate.

I find the whole thing hilarious. One snafu after another. And another. And another.

From your link: 2,000,000 enrolled... 13,000 "orphan files"

"Some" are having problems is right... That's a .08% error rate.

Maybe 3 years wasn't long enough for HHS to get the work done.

If you read the article though for people signing up now the error rate is close to 0%. I wonder how may bugs have been in Medicare, VA, and Tricare? Dont hear people complaining about those problems do you? Some people love government health care and that includes the Republican base.

You obviously have never worked with a major software project like this.

And no its not government, its software in general where the requirements vary, are vague, and there is a hard deadline, where the company is trying to maximize profit.

On time
Good quality
in budget

Pick two.

They went for on time, in budget.
