No I do not, I do think those billionaires do enjoy making more money thanks to those subsidies.
Well they certainly didn't get those billions from farm subsidies.
So if we do the math…
$11 million /17 years = $647,000
$647,000 /50 people = $13,000 per year per billionaire (average).
Not everyone got that much though.
The subsidies are for crops..they don't pocket that money
It cost more to plant and harvest than what it is sold for and the government subsidies that part.
If they didn't your food would be very expensive.
The government pays them the difference to break even.
A gallon of milk would cost near $8 if it weren't for milk subsidies.
They got $13,000 per year and you're b*tching and whining about it ?

"at least 50 billionaires or farm businesses in which they had a financial interest benefited from $11.3 million in traditional farm subsidies between 1995 and 2012."

I don't get a say in this and neither do you.
Why didn't you defend your original post about billionaires profiting from farm subsidies ?
Maybe because they aren't ?
Each and every "farm" applies and gets approved BY THE GOVERNMENT.
If you don't like that the government is handing out money then go voice your outrage to your Congress person.
At least we're seeing an ROI on that money via lower food costs.
Money spent on welfare programs (over $1 trillion a year) is money flushed down the toilet.

You need to research how farm subsidies work a little more. Or is this just more class envy where you try to attack billionaires, even though this is something you personally benefit from every time you eat a meal?
Name a single billionaire who receives subsidies above and beyond anyone else.

Poster is spewing left talking points from headlines.
No substance and can't even defend their posts.
I'll name one billionaire..Paul Allen (Microsoft)
He got average of $14000/year for 10 years to subsidy his barley farm.
And why does a billionaire need a subsidy? Paul Allen owns super yachts, I am sure he could have covered the spread with his barley farm easily.
