strange, I do not teach my home schooled children that, neither do I teach them that hating others is a good thing.
I teach my daughters normal school subjects, but I also teach them that government is there by the people and for the people, but always mistrust government.
after all, how could any trust anyone that comes to their door and states, " Hi, I am from the government and I am here to help".
OP missed the entire point and the underlying meaning of the article, but nevertheless, are you going to make your kids haters and bigots or are you just going to shelter them from the rest of the world until they are old enough to venture out on their own and discover that you were not telling them everything about the big bad world? My guess is the former.

And since my point seems to have eluded you entirely: it's very easy to find samples of extreme rhetoric from the pro-gay side and claim that they represent some sort of nefarious hidden agenda to brainwash children.
As I have demonstrated, it is even easier to find examples of religious leaders (even prominent ones) who want the government to kill gay people.
Can we therefore assume that this represents mainstream Christian thought?

I teach my children what is needed to be taught, and they also learn from other sources as well. I just keep them away from the people that are doing stupid crap in schools.

But sooner or later, they will discover that gay people exist, unless you plan to keep them in an underground bunker, or in Russia, forever.
