4-year-old girl shoots and kills 4-year-old cousin, police say - CNN.com

I suppose it could be worse.

According to the Centers for Disease Control's National Center for Injury Prevention and Control, 703 children under the age of 15 died in accidental firearms deaths between 2001 and 2010, the latest year for which data are available.
During the same period, 7,766 children under the age of 14 suffered accidental firearm injuries.

I can't even think about how the parents feel when their kid kills themselves or someone with the gun they left laying around.

Horrific. Utterly horrific. Compounded by how little some people care.

Tragic that this happened....

These are NOT responsible gun owners, they do NOT represent the majority of gun owners, they do NOT represent me....

Just thought I would get that out there before this turns into a bash all gun owners...

You mistake protecting one of our constitutional rights with "mot caring" about dead and injured children.

No one is looking to sue swimming pool manufacturers for parental neglect in child drownings.

A time will come when being gunned down will be considered a Death By Natural Causes.

Funny how the Center for Disease Control has anointed itself the keeper of such statistics.
I wonder, do they track how many children obamas attacks have killed?

Probably not, but the reality is that gun nuts will bend themselves into pretzels to try to rationalize their scurrilous, self-centered and petulant perspectives on this matter.
