We arm both sides.

Every link you posted refers to the United States arming the Free Syrian Army. The Free Syrian Army is composed of Syrian Army defectors and moderate Syrian citizens who initially started the revolution.

At no time has the Obama Administration armed, funded or negotiated with the ISIS or the Al Qaeda in Iraq who have attempted to co-opt the revolution away from the FSA. As was previously posted, the FSA are actually fighting two fronts, one against Assad and one against Al Qaeda.

You righties attempted to make a connection between the FSA and Al Qaeda and the Obama Administration from the start even though you have never provided any substance to that claim. It fits your warped agenda that the president is an Islamic, Al Qaeda loving terrorist funder. You are barefaced liars and are out to destroy the president, the administration and the country with lies, distortions and misrepresentations that you know are not true.

If you believe that Obama is not arming and funding the FSA as well as al Qaeda, then "you can keep your health insurance policy and your doctor if you like them."

Liberal freaks certainly have no credibility on any topic, every word that issues from their gob is a lie. Obama demonstrates this on a daily basis, and you still expect to find some moron to believe your spin? Well, I suppose nobody ever accused liberal freaks of being overly bright.

Pelosi's pandering to Assad only gives him more resolve to continue fighting, knowing that he has the support of the US.

We should not be involved either way in Syria. At least not until the power struggle has been resolved. Then when they have completely decimated each other, and only then, should the US go in and wipe out the victor.

With regard to the Iran/Iraq war during the 1980s, Reagan supplied both Iran and Iraq with military intelligence on the movement of each others troops. We did not supply arms or financing to either side. Reagan was able to ensure that neither side gained a significant victory over the other. As a result, after 8 years of conflict the Iran/Iraq war came to an end that was a stalemate. Neither side gained an inch of their others territory.

The situation in Syria is considerably different than the Iran/Iraq war. A stalemate is not an option in Syria. One side or the other will win eventually. Which ever side wins will still be our enemy.

Are you kidding? We have spent hundreds of billions feeding Israel and the Middle-East...we always play one against the other.....Iraq/Iran.....in the late 70's/early 80's, Iraq was our friend.....now?

Incorrect. Prior to 1979 Iran was our ally. Iraq was never our ally. Iraq was the puppet of the USSR, not the US. Iran was our puppet, until 1979. It is painfully obvious that you are utterly clueless on the topic.

Neither side is "Good" as it has displaced nearly 2 Million people to other countries. But what is odd is that Syria has 150,000 Refugees in Syria plus 4 Million displaced inside and the UN has written a check to Syria for 2013 for $260 Million through UNHCR. Yet the UN personnel have left. So who is actually getting the check and spending it on what?

UNHCR - Middle East
