As for Obama' Selective Service registration card, why was his 2 digit date stamp a day early than when he signed it? The date of the official date stamp is July 29, but the date of the registrant Obama's signature is a day later, July 30, 1980. The dates should match like everyone else's registration card. Don't you agree?
Here is Bruce Henderson's registration. He signed up in Hawaii in the same zip code area a few days after Obama did. His 4 digit date stamp matches the date he signed it, Aug 2, 1980.

1. The date of the official stamp is the same as the date of the registrant’s signature.
2. Numbers 1 and 9 are not missing from the date of the official stamp.

You do know how easy it is to change a date on a document online, right? I could make that document say it was stamped several years later if I wanted thanks to things like Photoshop.
