The idiot politicians in CA have done it again. By passing more layers of useless laws, some gun companies refuse to comply and will no longer sell guns in CA. That means the bad guys will still be able to get guns from other states. The CA law will do nothing to help prevent shootings, but will definitely send CA money out of state.

Idiots in government abound.

Look, all that Ruger and S&W need to do to get recertified, is to implement a technology that isn't feasible in any way shape or form at great expense, is only required by California; then pay California a big fee to look at the gun, then pay them a fee every year to sell the gun in the state. What's so wrong about that?

Yes. These laws are worse than useless. They only make the politicians look good in the eyes of many voters.

Big Government has been driving business out of the country. This is nothing new. CA's loss will be another states gain.
Although I am not a revolver guy, look at Freedom Arms success in Wyoming.

I guess Glock, Beretta, and others are very happy. Why would anybody buy the junk that Ruger pushes anyways? I can just see all the long lines of people waiting to buy a Ruger down in Yuma or Lake Tahoe...sorry that was a joke.

I sincerely hope they are consistent with California. By that, I mean I hope they refuse to sell to Law Enforcement and private security guards as well as civilians.

I wish the auto industry had the common sense to do the same thing and would refuse to engineer special vehicles just for the Fruitcake market.

Even if they paid for it 100%, it still wouldn't work.

Plus, microstamping is stupid.

If glock only wants to sell gen3s forever and ever sure.

I'd rather throw a ruger than shoot a glock...

What's wrong with Rugers? They make the most popular .22lr in the country. Their LCRs are the best conceal/carry revolvers on the market, IMO (I have one less than three feet from me at the moment, in fact), and the LCP is wildly popular. The P95 is ugly as sin, but a great shooter, and that's what counts.

I have to admit that I wouldn't take a Glock if I won it in a raffle.
