It's a federal crime.
So she was arrested by federal agents on federal charges and was booked into a federal facility?

I agree with you. That was going to be my next point.

So pot should be legal is what your saying? I tend to agree but it isn't and the law is the law. I don't like many laws but I have to follow them or face the consequences. That is life in the USSA.

"Kansas cops let woman die over marijuana"

The cops were just following the law. Everyone in Colorado and their border states know you can't take it out of the state. I suspect there's more going on here than is being reported. Where was her family when she got thrown in the pokie? Why didn't they bail her out? The cops did send her to the hospital, it's not their fault that the hospital released her. The story sounds like a bunch of bull too me.

According to the story they were not allowed to make a phone call to anybody so her family probably had no idea she was there.

The fact that people are still taken to jail over simple possession of marijuana is beyond me. Law or no law.

Hell, the DEA is working with the freaking cartels. Any arrests in that scandal?? Any arrest made in the Wall St. scandals where they steal millions or billions? Any bankers going to jail??

This country needs to get its priorities in check and stop being so, so damn corrupt.
