People have been predicting "the rapture" and the arrival of the anti-Christ for centuries.
Let's see . . . in my lifetime . . . the world was going to end in the 60s b/c of the evil Russians (sputnik somehow "foretold" the end of the world). And then there was Qaddafi who was supposed to be the Anti-Christ. And before my day, there was Hitler and Armaggedon was WWII. Well, actually, Armaggedon was WWI ("the war to end all wars" is what it was called at the time). And then there was the year 2000 . . . we were all supposed to go up in flames. And then the Mayan calendar thang. Those are the "end times" I can recall off the top of my head.
YAWN.

I thought Obama was the Antichrist? Can't they at least stay consistent?
Anyway...the funny thing about prophecy is that if it is one, it can't not come true...if it were to happen, as it was happening, could you stop it? You couldn't...because if you could, then it wasn't a prophecy..
Very curious...
