I'm sure she'll find ways to alienate everyone over the course of the next year.

Is this where I point out that Donald Trump was in the lead for the GOP nomination at one point?

It's a participation prize - show up, and you'll be in the lead sooner or later.

Of course it was dismissed.
She resigned, so further prosecution wasn't necessary. If she actually had the guts you think she has, and she wasn't guilty, she should have stuck to her guns, finished her job as Governor, and let the chips fall where they may. The woman has a big mouth, but she's a coward. She always runs away while yelling insults over her shoulder as she goes.

The Alaska legislature's only penalty if she was found guilty was impeachment unless there was enough criminal proof to allow a prosecution. Since she bailed before impeachment proceedings began, the Legislature just saved the citizenry a lot of money and a big black blot on Alaska's reputation.

But the defense fund got folded into her kitty eventually anyway. She never gave a dime of his back.

It's all ancient and moot now. Sarah Palin will never run again in her life for any office. Once she got a taste of life in the lower 48, she was through with Alaska forever, and the only thing she has ever mastered is the art of grifting. While any candidate can keep the campaign funds received, did John McCain continue to have an active Presidential campaign fund after his loss? Or Mike Huckabee?

Nope. Only Ron Paul kept his active, and he actually ran again in 2012. Paul turned down funds he could have gotten from PACs and other places, too. Only Palin, the non-candidate, still keeps hers active, and it's now 6 years afterward. She is breaking no laws, so it's the perfect con, and she can keep it going for as long as she can find a sucker who will fork over some cash.

That's a pretty good gig. You should consider running yourself, Britt. Set yourself up for the rest of your life. All you have to do is wear a mini skirt, lose, wave the flag, join the tea party, and stay noisy.

Trying to rehabilitate the image of Sarah Palin is a lost cause. Trying to resurrect her career in national politics is a lost cause.

Let's be honest here. No one would even be asking the question if Sarah Palin had Jan Brewers looks.

The slight head tilt, the purposely messed hair, the thigh high boots, the twinkled wink and tough girl demeanor... That's stuffs more potent than viagra to a certain demographic and threads like this prove it.

The trust was frozen and Palin did not receive money from it in the end.
