Really? How is this allowed?
Oh and he was Convicted 2 weeks ago and he hasn't be removed, or resigned.

He was convicted of two misdemeanors. Different states have different laws on this, but the vast majority allow those convicted of at least most misdemeanors to hold public office. Those convicted of felonies are not allowed to hold public office in most states.

Illinois voters elected Jesse Jackson Jr. while he was literally IN a mental institution. As long as they have a (D) next to their name, some idiots will elect anyone.

He can't be removed because his conviction was due to racism.
