He usually just posts "Why do liberals _______?" threads. That's about the extent of anything the poster contributes, they didn't really want to get into the topic if people who weren't Republicans were going to say they actually liked country music.
stupid is as stupid does. A working person voting Republican makes as much sense as a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.
Unless you want to have a job and keep your money. Why vote for a party that believes increasing the labor supply in poor economic times is a good thing?
Not a big fan of modern country music, like outlaw country and I like a lot of bluegrass. I will however say, that it is much better than the crap this guy wrote/sang. Antavio Johnson. Kill me a cop, Really?
There's no way of knowing whether or not the GOP or Democrats love country music more, since the format does extremely well in all parts of the country, in areas where liberals rule (Northeast & Midwest) as well as where conservatives (Deep South & the Desert Southwest) prevail.
I think a better way of phrasing the question is this. Why are the majority of people who listen to country music Republicans? It isn't limited to Republicans. However, most people I know who like country music are Republicans.
Portland Or. DOES have 2 Country music stations so I guess there are MANY in Portland that DO like Country music.
