You need photo id to listen to country music and only republicans have any sort of photo id.

There's no way of knowing whether or not the GOP or Democrats love country music more, since the format does extremely well in all parts of the country, in areas where liberals rule (Northeast & Midwest) as well as where conservatives (Deep South & the Desert Southwest) prevail.

I think a better way of phrasing the question is this. Why are the majority of people who listen to country music Republicans? It isn't limited to Republicans. However, most people I know who like country music are Republicans.

Portland Or. DOES have 2 Country music stations so I guess there are MANY in Portland that DO like Country music.
