Well there goes that long-term trend thing again pointing out that it's not the baby-boomers retiring causing the LFPR to decline by any real amount (although it is on a very very small scale).
Then explain why it is that it is the unemployment amount younger and minority groups that continues to increase.

As I've noted from the beginning. Run out of unemployment benefits and the government decides that you are no longer unemployed. Doesn't matter that you are.
Regarding what you said (in bold) ... did you even bother to look at (analyze) the data table I posted before you typed your response???

Perhaps it's not even worth my time to reply to your posts in the future?

The latest job numbers arent 'horrible'.. They do indicate that layoffs have ceased, but hiring is lagging.

The U6 fell to 12.7%, down from 13.1% in December. So, how is the "real" unemployment rate around 20%? Because, in my area, I've seen an increase of Now Hiring signs, many at restaurants indicating that young people are having a chance at the job market again

The biggest question facing the U.S. economy: Why are people dropping out of the workforce?

UI has no bearing on if you're counted as unemployed or not. None.

Are they looking for work? That's how the UE rate is counted. It has absolutely nothing to do with UI.

1.3 million unemployed stopped being counted when they lost their extended unemployment benefit. They are no longer counted by government as unemployed, because once their name was removed and they stopped receiving checks they "officially" no longer counted as being among the unemployed when it came to government statistics. I don't understand how some people can't figure that one out. Those 1.3 million have been added to the millions that are unemployed, except those millions are not "officially" unemployed according to government stats.
