The hypocrisy of so many seniors and the Tea Party base calling for less government spending. Even Ted Nugent in one of his rants called out seniors and Medicare spending. The Tea Party seniors are collecting an average of $25,455 from the government while we spend $3,822 on children annually. Guess which group votes and want to get rid of the ACA for young people. Heres the text of Mahers comments. Go ahead shoot the messenger and forget about the message.

Your wrong on elderly boomers and Medicare since the oldest boomers only went on Medicare in 2011 and most Medicare spending is for those over 70. Medicare will have to be rationed at some point. As an example my neighbor at 83 went in for open heart surgery and developed an infection then went into intensive care and died. The total bill will probably be close to $100,000. This happens all the time with $50-$100 billion spent on peoples last month of life.

What does any of that have to do with the fact that our three biggest budgetary expenditures are SS, Medicare, and defense?

Welfare. Exactly. Not benefits bought with decades of premium payments.

How does that in any way refute my point?

If anything it just goes to show boomers can't even save what money they didn't spend competently.

I know this is a new concept for you, but you have to answer questions first before you just keep adding more.

And which demographic put Obama into office? It all started at the 2008 Iowa caucus, where Obama won by a stunning GOTV effort. Turnout was nearly doubled from 2004. And many of the new participants were under 25:
