Well according to another of your allies there polls don't matter especially when voting on stuff..so I take the same approach to this garbage.
Marriage is not a right.
Equal protections of the law is a right.
States have legal protections titled marriage.
States can not deny equal protection of the laws under the US constitution without first showing how doing so would further a compelling state interest.
No state has been able to show how denying same sex couples the protections of the laws titled marriage furthers a compelling state interest.
Gay marriage is much more contentious to a handful of Christians.
And perhaps you missed it, but there were a handful of Christians quoting the Bible back in the day who said that certain passages did prohibit interracial marriage.
And nothing is stopping people from obeying what they believe to be God's law. The legalization of same-sex marriage will not require you to marry someone of the same sex.
