Whatever Texas does, the Fed will send in an unelected appointee to subvert the will of the people.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, the front-runner in the race this year for governor, has said the state has the right to establish its own marriage policies and will defend the amendment that passed with about 70 percent of voter support.

70 % of the people's will is going to be overturned because of what 1% of the population wanting to "marry"...unbelievable.

U.S. District Judge Orlando Garcia, appointed by Democratic President Bill Clinton, will hear the case.

Well that ends the debate on whether or not Texas's right to determine their own laws will stand or not.

Is there something about a gay couple getting married that invalidates a straight marriage?

It depends. Holder stopped our Voter ID law and Abbott took him to court.
Texas won and it became effective with our last vote.

The only one who cried in his soup was a Texas Dem who tried to vote with a 2 year old expired DL and was turned away. A 2 year old expired Texas DL is not valid for anything…he tried to pull a fast one on the MSM and they called him on it and he slithered away.

This will be settled only in the Supreme Court. The state's rights under the 10th Amendment are being totally ignored by this administration.

Marriage is between man and woman. There is no such thing as a "gay marriage".

I was very disappointed that Nevada didn't appeal to the SCOTUS.
