Remember the pics and criticism handed out when there were photos of Michelle in shorts and others where she is in sweats? Oh, the outrage and what a disgrace for a First Lady. Now there's a problem with the gown she wore AND NO ONE KNOWS IF SHE PAID FOR IT OR IF THE DESIGNER GAVE IT TO HER!!!

I think the point is, the President gets on TV and spouts about income inequality and how he is going to fix it. Remember he's a warrior for the middle class.

I don't care what they do with their own money, I just find it very hypocritical that he says things about making everything equal and then spends half a million dollars on one dinner. I would like to know if I paid for the quail eggs though.

I wonder what other lawyers with degrees from both Princeton and Harvard spend on their clothes? If you find the price of this dress shocking you will be blown away on what some small town girls are going to spend on their Prom Dresses.

These kinds of complaints about the Obama’s are the subtle reminders that people believe despite that she is the first lady and well educated, she still doesn’t “know her place” IMO Most of the lower class conservatives complain more because they see Michelle dressed like this and they realized that they have thrown away their lives. Wealthy conservatives wouldn’t think twice about the price of someone’s clothes.

Just think if the daughter of a homemaker and water plant laborer could rise to this level with all the cards stacked against her, a more privileged member of society could have done this with their life.
