There is hypocrisy on both sides, but it isnt as large on the left as you make it out to be. When the NSA scandal broke and ever sense then, Conservatives have started thread after thread talking about how the Left has turned on Obama while quoting articles from the NY Times, Daily Kos, The Nation, WaPost, and Mother Jones... Heck even Maddow, but in a thread like this, it is as if you pretend the opposition of it from the left disappeared on 1/21/09.

Also, alot of the attacks on Rand Paul are because of his own hypocrisy...remember the drones LOL.

Partisan hackery. It's only bad if the other guy from the "other" team does it. While Bush may have started the Patriot Act, Obama is no better as he is continuing it.

voting against and making a public spectacle are not one in the same.

I dont remember him filing a lawsuit or having a 12 hour filibuster on it.

Not true at all, President Obama(no matter how many times you call him imperial), does not have the power to repeal the Patriot act on his own.

They were before Obama. Obama was against it before Obama. But yeah, the GOP was for it before Obama but its not the GOP suing.

Funny. He had no problem telling us in a nutshell in the State of the Union address that it was his way or the highway.

He didn't have to push for its reauthorization and sign it.

Basically your post is extremely hypocritical but thats expected from the left wing loonies.
In. A. Nutshell! Even when they border on being accurate, they insist on being inaccurate.

More good news for the Dems. There are republican members of congress who are in favor of the NSA program. Further divisions in the the GOP. The senate vote today reflected other dramatic divisions. I wonder who is really suing the NSA, as surely Paul is not using his own money, so what special interest group is paying? Rand Paul is a busy guy out there insulting the Clintons and suing the government. Does he ever do any real work or is he always running for something?
