This thread is about how 8 million anti-gun immigrants will change the voting landscape. We're not discussing religion or the 1st amendment but I would gladly debate you on this topic if you open another thread.

They are in no way equally important.

One is a fundamental facet of democracy, the other way put in place to keep the British from taking us back. Keeping a well armed militia is absolutely unnecessary in 21st century America.

Are you one of these people that think the government is gonna declare war on it's citizens?

How do you know they are anti-gun?

That was the accusation of the OP not mine. I was responding to the topic he put forth. In reality you can't classify all immigrants as anti-gun. I know that, you know that, but the OP obviously works in conservative absolutes...

One of the only reason we are not like Russia yet is because citizens have arms. Look at the way politics under Obama is progressing and wake up. They are slowly and systematically weakening the population.

Why else would they purchase 1.6 billion rounds of ammo? Target practice? First collapse the economy - make population dependent on govt. - then weed out the troublemakers. Better brush up on your communist readings.

I wonder if they'll still be heroes if they "vote" against abortion?

Interesting.....isn't it cons who do not support cuts to the military? If you truly believe the government aka military is going to take over the citizens, why do you support pumping more money into the military?

You best run out and spend all your money on guns and ammo if you believe what you just wrote.

1. Lots of Russians have guns.
2. What possible motivation would there be to enslave/imprison/kill your workers and taxpayers
3. Do you seriously think the US military, comprised mostly of lower class citizens, would willingly decimate their own country?
4. You have absolutely no idea what communism is. It's an economic model that supports the social ownership of the means of production, it's not a plan for military coups.

Better brush up on your common sense.
