I would say racists, but nominally white conservatives. Look at their defense of Zimmerman, the guy in the movie theater and the guy that shot the kids over music.
Great. We started out talking about low life black thugs beating up on a disabled army vet, and by the second page have smoothly transitioned over to conservative racists and their knee-jerk defense of white thugs. Well done.

Harrier doesn't know what skin color or political ideology has to do with any of those, but he does note that of those three cases, one is in its very early stages(so it is too early to draw any conclusions until more facts are known), one is in the jury's hands(and only they get to decide the truth), and Zimmermann was found not guilty of what with he was charged(so your "defense" phrase makes no sense).
its safe to say this. if a bunch of white kids attacked a black person not even a vet=automatic hate crime. other way around its not even considered a possibility of being a hate crime. thats one of many things that is wrong with this country
Double standard occurs all the time in the USA. Check out Marcus Smart (College basketball player) attacking a white fan in the stands on National television and only received a 3-game suspension.
Watch the video, a black kid was beat up in the same area last week but it didn't merit a C-D post.
The media showed that in a attempt to negate the fact it was really a hate crime against a white. The beat up black kid was not relevent to the issue of the white disabled veteran being a victim. And notice the news team refrained from mentioning the race of the attackers in the headline. I think they did that to hinder the truth getting out that America has a problem with violent black youths attacking Whites in this nation on a epidemic scale.
