Absolutely. If something as destructive and dangerous as ethanol is, there is no rational reason whatsoever marijuana shouldn't be. Things like LSD should be legal as well, seeing how safe and non-toxic and non-addictive they are. They certainly offer far more enlightenment than any form of alcohol ever will that's for damn sure.

One solitary liberal seems to be getting it right. Pot does damage brains. It destroys ambition.

Now, however, SAM is poised to launch a serious counter-offensive. It began this month with a billboard outside the Super Bowl.“Marijuana kills your drive,” read the carefully-calibrated text, which picked up national coverage, spreading on a tide of the opposition’s howls and guffaws.

Yes. It's a total waste of time and energy to keep going as we have been. Someone who uses pot is not a criminal, it's the law that's wrong. And we don't needs laws to "protect" adults from readily available substances. You stand or fall on your own.

The two people who run SAM: Kevin Sabet and Patrick Kennedy.

Sabet is a paid shill who has made his living on propagating marijuana prohibition.

Kennedy crashed his car into a police barricade late at night in DC. in 2006. Police witnessed the crash but no investigation was conducted. No breathalyzer, no blood taken, no sobriety test. Kennedy later blamed the accident on ambien, which he had taken before the accident.

Why isn't Kennedy trying to outlaw ambien? It could have killed him.

I don't see any reason not to. I smoked it in college, everybody I knew at that time tried it at least once. One side effect, it makes for great out-of-this-world sex.

i voted 'yes' but then changed my mind ...

i would say that it should be legal on the federal level

and that individual states should have the right to prohibit it if they choose. all 50 states should not be forced to accept cannabis use.
