Alcohol and cigarettes are legal. I know alcohol is much worse than marijuana. Im sure cigarettes are worse too. Cigarettes have freaking that poison in them and they're legal! Alcohol causes violence and splits families apart and causes accidents. Cigarettes turn your lungs black and give others second have smoke. One time my grandma actually smoke directly into my face!

Marijuana has been legal for personal use in Alaska since 1974. If other States want to keep marijuana illegal, or if they want to decriminalize or legalize marijuana, that should be entirely up to the residents of those States.

I think all drugs should be legal in all 50 states and treated as the social problem they are, not a criminal problem.

Default Do you think marijuana should be legal in all 50 states?

It doesn't matter to me, I don't need stimulants to enjoy life but to each their own.

I think we should wait to see the effect of the legalization of the marijuana before legalizing the "hard drugs" .
It should be legal in all the 50 states and DC , it will create job ( retail, production, security etc) , Generate wealth and billions in tax.

Another point that the advocates of the legalization should insist on is that due to the legalization the Mexican cartels and domestic gangs will lost this market which will decrease the violence and the cost involved with it .

Yes. But it should be up to each state to do it their way, if they do it at all.

One things for sure, the federal government should get the hell out of the marijuana prohibition business.
