Heres a group that would probably lean Republican. It looks like they are the biggest winners under the ACA.
You can look at this two ways they are taking money from the young to pay for their health care or they are simply keeping their taxes and using it to pay for health care. Anyone wants to whine about transfering money from young to old you can start with Medicare which borrows 240 billion a year and is barely means tested. The ACA is means tested and revenue neutral.

That's right so open you wallet so that older American only has to pay $68/month for health insurance.
This is what you wanted and now you have it.
The other older Americans who are winners under our health care policies are the Tea Partiers. The programs they support Medicare, Tricare, VA, Medicaid for Seniors cost taxpayers at least $750 billion above what ever their co-pays and deductibles are. The Tea Party talks out of one side of their mouth while holding their hands out for the government hand out. Then they claim they are entitled to it...all of it. The ACA next year will be about 50 billion...the programs the Tea Party supports $750 billion. You have to love the Tea Party for their willingness to stop socialism even if its revenue neutral.

Most of those people that are currently on Medicare paid taxes throughout their working years to support the system. There's also the $716 Billion that ACA will take away from the Medicare Advantage plans over a 10-year span. There are also thousands of responsible insureds who had existing policies that weren't good enough to keep. ACA is the biggest load of crap that Obama has come up with. It's a huge redistribution of income from the middle class to the poorer classes just like the Social Security, Medicaid systems.

ACA is not means tested in the traditional sense. No one is denied insurance, just the subsidies. You need to be more factual about the nuances in your attempt at objectivity.

And the poor beat out the older Americans. We spend over $1 trillion in means tested programs.
When all is said and done you get to keep $.40 of each dollar you earn. The other $.60 goes to various government entities (city, county, state, federal).
Democrats love using government programs to pick winners and losers. Can't say I feel sorry for the morons in the 20-34 age bracket who rubber-stamped King Obama's tyrannical second term.
