Right you are

The media is just as a big offender as the President & elected people

About the only hope I have is the fact that what goes around comes around
but sadly not soon enough.

Also Obama is not the worst President. That dishonor goes to the shrub for running two wars ineptly. Not raising taxes during said wars. Claiming that said wars would only cost a billion dollars and pay for themselves. Instead the wars and the reconstruction efforts have cost trillions of dollars like the military and the liberals said they would.

Oh btw the Shrub decided to invade Iraq when the US military told his dear dad that to do so would require over a million troops to maintain order in the country and prevent insurrection from occuring. Guess what the shrub decided to not listen to the military and only use 250,000 troops. Guess what happened. The Iraqi armories got looted of their explosives and ammo as well as weapons. The CPA which Bush decided to staff not with experienced people but instead Bush loyalists who answered yes to such questions as are you anti-abortion? are you in favor of a flat tax? royally effed up the rebuilding of Iraq such as losing pallets of billions of dollars of money, hiring Haliburton to do laundry at 500 dollars a bag when the US military used to do the duty at 5cents of laundry, hiring Haliburton to install showers with wiring that wound electroution and killing US soldiers, hiring mercs to escort trucks around Iraq that were empty at a cost to US tax payers at hundreds of thousands per hour. Oh the list can go on.
I think most of what you wrote here is just B.S.

Have you considered how Obama has allowed the Muslim Brotherhood to take over much of the Middle East (Egypt, Libya, and now Iraq). Obama has destroyed our relationships in that part of the world, including our ally, Israel. What we gained in Iraq, including the use of Iraqi air space, he has squandered, and now control of that air space belongs to Iran.

As for Haliburton: Haliburton built most of the oil field equipment used in the Middle East. They are an oil field services company. Since it is their equipment, it is understandable that they would be the company to service it. Haliburton is not the "evil" company you liberals make it out to be. I'm quite familiar with Haliburton, as a former employee of a supplier of equipment to Haliburton (we built wellhead inspection systems). Haliburton is a good company, with many, many years experience in oil field services.

Most of what you posted is just regurgitated leftist gobbledygook and clichés.

I don't suppose you have any sources to back up your rant?

You mean George W Bush.

It was George W Bush who promoted democracy in the Middle East for over a decade which lead Hamas to be elected in Palestine when the PLO said that would happen if elections were to take place. George W Bush said that wouldn't happen.

How the US sent $12bn in cash to Iraq. And watched it vanish | World news | The Guardian 12 billion sent to Iraq and it just vanished without a trace.

"In the year after the invasion of Iraq in 2003 nearly 281 million notes, weighing 363 tonnes, were sent from New York to Baghdad for disbursement to Iraqi ministries and US contractors. Using C-130 planes, the deliveries took place once or twice a month with the biggest of $2,401,600,000 on June 22 2004, six days before the handover."

""One CPA official described an environment awash in $100 bills," the memorandum says. "One contractor received a $2m payment in a duffel bag stuffed with shrink-wrapped bundles of currency. Auditors discovered that the key to a vault was kept in an unsecured backpack.

"They also found that $774,300 in cash had been stolen from one division's vault. Cash payments were made from the back of a pickup truck, and cash was stored in unguarded sacks in Iraqi ministry offices. One official was given $6.75m in cash, and was ordered to spend it in one week before the interim Iraqi government took control of Iraqi funds.""

You people hate the truth.

Oh also the guy in the Bush admin who did a cost estimate of 200-300 billion for Iraq invasion and occuption got fired. Donald Rumsfield called that estimate baloney and embraced the figure of 50 billion that would be paid by oil revenue. Now that oil is owned by China and annual costs of the Iraq occupation are 25-40 billion.

Depends on what one considers the president's job to be. The results of his decisions were awful, but making them made his supporters feel better, and it seems to me the right believe that's the president's job: to make them feel good. So in that respect, I can see how right-wingers think Bush was not a bad president.

But if you think results matter, Bush was awful. Also, he had people tortured.

He gave a good speech in the aftermath, encouraging calm. Everything else he did was completely wrong. He failed in all ways.

How does the GOP ask for the vote of the American people to solve America's problems when they can't come together and formulate a effect counter the WORST PROBLEM FACING AMERICA IN HISTORY?
The first two years the Dems had full control of the government . Passed Health care not giving a dam about any republican ideas and in those two years they could have done anything they wanted, Since then they are in full control of 2/3 of the government and their policies have failed and the best you have is to say that controlling the government and then 2.3 of the government somehow where we are as a country is the republican fault. Once again denying denying culpability. to blame and to finger point is all the dems have because they have failed

Bush ignored the info he was given about Al Queda and he chose to ignore it. He went into Iraq at his desire.

Nobody wants to walk into office and be faced with the worst recession in a generation. Set up by a bill penned by republicans and signed into law by a Democrat President (Gramm-Leach Bliley) which allowed the banks to sell the subpar mortgages as a part of commercial banking. This brought the entire world to the brink of a depression.

In the 6.5 years the GOP was in charge, they did nothing about the uninsured. The democrats gave us AHCA because they knew their time in power was limited. Do I like the ACHA? No. But the GOP offered nothing.

And the deficit? Puhleeze. Bush added the drug benefits to Medicare, but didn't fund it. That, along with two major unfunded tax cuts, two unfunded wars, (one based upon manufactured WMDs) and spending practices that would make a democrat blush, set up one hell of a deficit. For anyone to say that only the democrats spend like drunken sailors either forgot a lot of their own history or have the blinders superglued on. You people need to seriously do your research and stop parroting the talking heads on Fox, MSNBC, or every other biased "news" channel on cable.

None of these idiots in Washington are concerned with the deficit, the national debt, or are serious about balancing the budget. All they give a **** about is getting reelected. And don't get me started about the bat**** crazies the Tea Party put in there. They give the word useless a whole new meaning.

Quit being party shills and actually do your own freaking thinking. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING is going to improve until we stop listening to the sound bites and talking heads and use our own brains.

Who's at fault? Look in the mirror, folks.

Jesus Christ but this forum is becoming a one note concert. And it's boring. The same people griping about the same stupidity day after day. Don't any of you people have jobs, or hobbies, or a life outside of this?

I'm frigging outta here. Have fun kids.
