Last Living Medal of Honor Recipient from D-Day Dies - Mark Levin Pays Tribute - YouTube

Quote:
Today’s TopClip features a remarkable tribute for a truly amazing man.

Radio legend Mark Levin remembered the life and heroism of Walter Ehlers, the last living Medal of Honor recipient from D-Day in WWII, who died late last week at the age of 92.
Rest in peace, Walter Ehlers. And Roland, and everyone else who has paid the ultimate sacrifice for the cause of freedom.

A slight correction. He was not the last recipient from WW II but from D-Day. There are still several recipients still living. Seven according to this article Walter Ehlers dies at 92; awarded Medal of Honor for WW II heroism - latimes.com

What those men did that day was incredible.

Rest in peace Mr. Ehlers.

I sometimes wonder where some men get the where with all to turn fear into courage. R.I.P.

You don't, really. You just recognize you have to get something done and stick the fear into another part of your brain.
