Why do right-wingers tout free market principles but don't want open borders or the hire of illegal aliens? (interstate, wages)

Who sad a free market should only occur within our borders? Are you against tariffs?
You have a strange brain. One has nothing to do with the other any more than a free market has to do with hiring illegals. Free market is a business term and illegal is a criminal term. And it should be a felony. Many nations kill illegals.
I am very much for tariffs for goods not made in this country. Our laws have ways for people to come here and work when their expertise is needed but those workers are not illegal. ALL illegals should be deported and the sooner the better.
The right wing has traditionally been the upper class with unlimited financial resources. They are really not part of our common economy and they really do not care what happens to the average person...so they don't care if we get screwed by those who only think of themselves....IF a right winger's company does better by hiring slaves in Mexico or China...what is it to them if their fellow citizens fall through the cracks and the quality of the average life becomes lower? They don't care- welcome to capitalism at it's worst.
Yes they will do this until they end up in prison for it. A slack government is the problem.
I certainly hope your post is wrong and I am pretty certain it is wrong. Otherwise we have the biggest bunch of idiots running this country that has ever been.
Free market is free inside our country. We are supposed to be a sovereign nation. We have borders that are not being protected because of a lack of caring by many politicians. Our law-abiding citizens do not agree with this corruption.
A free market entails no form of regulation. Controlling the movement of people across international borders is a regulation on the free market. By your standard, regulated trade between countries is not an infringment on the free market since it isn't domestic.

Pure BS.
It's the left wing that hates the middle class and increases their taxes and cost of living through oppressive regulation.
Yeah not so much. But theres a lot of popular discontent with the open borders. It hasn't been incredibly popular. but the EU regulations in force kinda require it - theres a bunch of economic reasons behind the idea as well. The French have been especially upset by the Romney folks.
Is the free movement of labor a free market principle? Why shouldn't a business man hire an illegal if he chooses to? What business is it of the government to regulate the hiring process of a private business?
The issue is that the US is chartered and allowed to secure its borders. Since the government is theoretically capable of a finite amount of public servant it is justified in limiting access to it to citizens and legal immigrants.
Note that very few people believe non-citizens should be able to vote. Constitutional protections by and large apply to citizens and legal residents.
