Sadly you appear to be correct. Not that I'm sad you can't say the N word but where does it go from here? What if somebody yells out "Nice" after a TD and the ref think he heard the N word? It could and will happen. Refs have enough to worry about..........they police stuff pretty good. These guys are already juiced. Let em play. What next though? I mean what will be ok to yell at each other? LOL. Lot of guys talk...........back and forth...........just talking sheet. Nothing wrong with that IMO. I actually used to love it and like seeing it.

They're still gonna say it though...believe me.

I mean, it's hard to not say it when it's as habitual as it is with those guys.

I say it too..but I'm far more selective about when and where I say it.

I was a kid way back when the KC Kings were around. I was a ballboy and stood behind the bench. I guess I was maybe ten or eleven.....twelve?? something along those lines. Those friggen guys screamed more cuss words and **** talk then I've ever heard in my life to this day. Of course they are gonna say anything and everything to get an advantage. At the NFL level they are all great. It becomes mental and yacking can get some guys off their game. Refs will hopefully just ignore something this stupid............of course you know a flag will fly at some point........and it will cost a team a game and it is just ridiculous. That is just my opinion. PC football........never thought I'd see the day........LOL

You know that's a good point. Changed my opinion a little.

Lame ass OKC...a cowtown full of people that oughta be on Green Acres can support a hoops team and a REAL city that runs over two states CAN'T?

My god boy...where's your civic pride? We're talking about Charlie Parker's hometown here! Bird..ok!

Come on KU...you're disappointing me here.

I don't live there anymore............and no they can't support a hoop team......eh they might now who knows but who is gonna pay the dollars to bring em there.......that is why they left to Sacramento. Had a hockey team too who left. Nothing to do with pride........with reality. Old Kemper Arena still sits there empty though. That is where KU won the '88 title.

OKC has nothing else to do. Kinda like Nebraska has nothing but the Huskers. I remember when I was a kid my old man took me up to the horse race track in Lincoln on a saturday when the huskers were playing and we got lost a bit......looked like a ghost town..........took a while to just find somebody to get directions. Love that **** though.

You two might have a point, if not for the fact that anti-discrimination laws still apply to (most) private businesses... and restricting your employees from using foul language hardly qualifies as discrimination.

Nice try, though! And for the record, I think this proposal is stupid too.

Yep. But of course conservatives are NEVER hypocrites, they're just "reanalyzing the situation based on different factors."

Really, it just comes down to some folks blaming EVERYTHING on "liberals" - even when it has absolutely nothing to do with left or right politics, and even when their blaming contradicts itself. This is a decision made by a private business owner, in accordance with state laws, and I don't recall any liberal leaders chiming in on it. This liberal(ish) Californian thinks it's stupid, but supports their right to make that rule... like a few others, though, I think it should only be an individual (as opposed to team-hurting) punishment.
