Are you implying a petition is somehow violent? You really need to get a grip.
I am implying that Katy Perry is free to include what ever she wants in her video, it might not be to everyones taste but it is only a symbol in a video abd isn't breaking any laws. Islam is so intolerant that it even feels the need to try and ban things like this. You don't see me trying to ban videos because they contain a Cross or image of Christ or some other blasphemous rubbish. I just get on with my life and live and let live. As far as I am aware America is not yet an Islamic state ruled by Sharia Law, so Katy Perry is free to do as she pleases and long may this continue.

I would guess that Muslims are moved by emotion and not by reason and believe that Giligan's Island, and Star Trek is real .
They believe it is Ok if they lie (Karan)but not to be lied to.
So the music video represents some one's real beliefs, in their mind. or what ?
You and I know that art in what ever form it is ,struggles to cause something to get the observer to react.
Abuses happen for this reason ..
If one is that easily offended don't look don't spend any money on their product . But creating a big stink , that simply has the reverse effect. Who doesn't know that ?
