It's funny there are so many young people who need this kind of "medication" for their "illnesses".

Seems like the younger generation is wising up and realizes that it's smarter and healthier to use marijuana than it is to consume alcohol. This will lead to less deaths, lower addiction rates, reduced costs in health care and overall a much more happier society.

The next step is to vote out the older, incumbent politicians who have been in office for decades and no longer have a clue about the real world and elect ones that will have the same viewpoints and social beliefs that the majority of the country share.

Things may be looking up

Don't want to go to jail? Don't use illegal drugs! Quite simple, really.

For many, marijuana is ten times more harmful than that legal concoction alcohol.

Hopefully, the younger generation will realize that it's smarter and healthier to use neither.

just look up the stats, no comparison!!!! and you know it!!!

I can go get a bottle of hard liquor and get annihilated legally, see the hypocrisy.. I cant legally do the safer drug weed .. as long as the harder drug alcohol is legal there is no way in hell that it makes sense to keep the safer drug that one cannot overdose on illegal

A glass of wine a day has been proven to have health benefits. Marijuana usage has been proven to reduce the risk of certain kinds of cancer and cannabinoids have been proven to save young children who suffer life threatening seizures. Thank God they finally have a real medication that works!

It's only a matter of time now. The reefer madness maniacs are almost extinct! The older generation's lies regarding marijuana have been fully exposed.

Actually, it's not that simple... especially for those of us who are LEGALLY using in one state, and not in another. What if a cancer or AIDs patient needs marijuana to eat (I've personally known people for whom that was true), but is going on a road trip from California to Montana via Idaho? Should they be subject to arrest for the hours they're passing through Idaho, even though their medication is legal in the other three states? Or should they be forced to leave their medication at home, thus compromising their health for that time period? I thought you cared about strangers' health, but apparently that only applies to those using anything OTHER than marijuana.

Not to mention, complacency in regards to injustices is quite possibly the most dangerous thing a society can do. I bet if you were personally affected by such a thing, you'd be the first to protest against the unjust law. Or are you a government sheep, who blindly accepts what the government says to be true & in your best interest? Do you honestly think the marijuana laws have ANYTHING to do with "safety" or health? If so, you are even more naive than I thought.
