The "Newfies" do have a very lively musical tradition of their own...resembling Irish more than anything else. Labrador is really just an nearly uninhabited wilderness on the mainland... Politically, it's part of Newfoundland. Very unusual place---with very few tourists.

Living near the border as I do, I love Canada. I go up as often as I can. Canadians are nuts. But unlike Americans, they're mostly nice nuts.

I do enjoy quaffing Old Style and munchng on fully dressed chips!!!

Mmm-mmm good! Check out Natalie MacMaster's homepage. Of course, she's actually from Nova Scotia, but what's a Cabot Strait or two when it comes to fine music...

Umm...Old Style is from La Crosse, Wisconsin. Not a province yet, as far as I know, though Bushie may have to sell it to Ottawa to help pay for his Iraq Invasion. Maybe try a Granville Island Lager or something...

That's not an Old Style. That's a Molson Old Style Pilsner, formerly Sicks Old Style Pilsner.
