I don't want to do anything about Ukraine. So you are saying I was right to vote for Obama, right?

IMHO the Ukraine will probably break apart with the "Russian" side joining Russia and the rest of that country over near Poland will have a big fight which blow up against Russia.

Ok, I vote we send all the conservatives over for the first wave, since they are so gungho about us going to war instead of seeking an alternative.

Putin is moving on the Ukraine. As I predicted. Obama Does his best being well-spoken and clean. As I predicted.

Putin now gives Obama a hearty FU.

Obama only worried about AGW.

We are seeing the start of a new cold war as Putin seeks to gain a Russian empire.
I do not see it that way. I believe that PUTIN has seen NATO essentially go into many different nations under the guise of promoting democracy. Russia sees NATO as a threat and as the imperial arm of the West....that is encroaching closer to Russian territory without a buffer zone. The next thing you know, a pro Western Ukraine might have US bases and troops right next to Russia. I am sure that the US would not allow pro Russian governments at its door steps.

What puzzles me is tea party folks cry bloody murder when we want to invest millions to our infrastructure but they want us spend trillions going to war in Ukraine? What a bunch of loonies.

I'm not a politician or historian or policy maker or whatever else on this. I'm just a simple engineer who sees our infrastructure crumbling right before our eyes. Last time Obama said something about repairing our roads and bridges he was compared to hitler. And here we are ultra conservative ilks want us to spend trillions on going to war with Russia?

To answer your question, I don't know. Does that negate my argument that we should let Europe take care of this one?

If that is your argument then didnt the cold war start in 2008 when Russia actually invaded Georgia ?
