A few carrier strike groups in the Black Sea would make Putin reconsider his invasion.

...but then again Reagan is dead so I expect el Presidente to head over to Moscow to bow and apologize.

Hell No! If anything, Russia actually probably has a better claim to the Crimea than Ukraine does.

Obama will do the same old nothing that he has been doing up until now. I'm not even saying he should. But Obama's not going to do anything. Except maybe issue another "stern warning" and all that yap....

3rd way - depends.

If the Russians agree to be content with the Crimea and perhaps other heavily Russian areas like Karkov, Donetsk, etc then NO war.

If the Russians take one step outside of the Crimea or a heavily Russian area then the Free World needs to come up with a plan of action .... YES including the possible use of force if the Russians do not withdraw. However, I doubt Spineless Barry will ever go that far. The Eastern Mindset is not stopped by drawing red lines and "Let me be clear ..."

Thank goodness we have a president with an understanding of the world, an education to go with it, and five years of foreign policy experience instead of a complete fool like the one he replaced or the war monger and the corporate raider who couldn't find Ukraine on a map if his life depended on it that he beat out for the office. That will ensure we do not get embroiled in this ethnic squabble that is none of our affair.

The "free world"? What century are you living in? Russia is a democracy. Haven't you heard?
